Plus Wellness was founded by Doreen Namutebi as a wellness platform promoting sustainable health, holistic wellbeing and confidence-led living. Inspired by her personal wellness journey and growing concerns around rising obesity levels and harmful beauty trends, Doreen created Plus Wellness to encourage healthier lifestyles rooted in balance, education and long-term wellbeing. Today, Plus Wellness empowers women to prioritise their wellbeing, strengthen confidence and embrace sustainable wellness through community, education and intentional living.
Founded by Doreen Namutebi in 2016, Plus-Size Fashion Fest Africa is a global body confidence and fashion platform created to champion diversity, representation and confidence for curvy and plus-size women. Inspired by a lack of representation within African fashion, the movement was created to celebrate visibility, style and self-expression beyond traditional beauty standards.
Today, Plus-Size Fashion Fest Africa continues to empower women across Africa, Europe, USA and beyond through fashion, storytelling, wellness and community-driven experiences that promote confidence, identity and inclusivity.
Launched by Doreen Namutebi in 2012, Dare is a fashion and lifestyle brand inspired by confidence, individuality and bold self-expression. Created to celebrate modern women through timeless style and identity-led fashion, the brand became an early reflection of Doreen’s entrepreneurial vision and creative direction.
With an international customer base spanning the UK, USA, Canada and Uganda, Dare represents the foundation of Doreen’s journey in fashion, branding and business
